This makes no sense... Who am I supposed to give to if I can't even read the name? Unless this was an intentionally messy forgery, and I'm not supposed to know who to exchange with--this could be a malicious plot to make me look like some holiday humbug!

Your character will not know who is giving them a gift, but they will know who they are supposed to give to. This is a pretty laid back and casual event that lasts through January (if you choose) to give you a chance to interact with someone you might not necessarily chat with too often! Exchange via the holiday mingle post that will be going up, locate the mun you are interacting with via the contact page, or simply set up a post on your character journal and carry out the interaction via thread--it's up to you!

Alright people, here's the thing. It's cold, there's snow on the ground, and it's getting a little too serious for my liking so that means one thing; snow ball fight. Free for all because alliances in such a battle never end well.

Ah, here we are, Midnight. And on the shortest day of the year, too. Good thing we made it from Iksay before sundown. Now, let's see how long before Borus finds us...

Brr, I'm going to need to wrap my hands around a hot toddy after that ride!

Holidays at Budehuc

I know it's a bit short notice, but there was some interest in having the annual Secret Santa Swap for this Christmas. Due to members being busy and whatnot, we usually have this event last until the end of January to make up for absences.

This year we're changing it up a bit and for those of you who are not interested in swapping gifts via aim, there will be a holiday mingle post starting on the 23rd where characters can meet up and exchange gifts! (You don't have to sign up for Secret Santa in order to give other characters gifts though if there are plenty of people on their list~) If you prefer to swap gifts one-on-one instead of using the mingle post or AIM, you're more than welcome to exchange through threaded comments on your character's journal.

Comment here by December 22nd with the names of the characters you are interested in having participate in the Secret Santa. If your character is reluctant to sign up but you want them to participate, we can always pretend someone else kindly did them the favor of signing them up~

*returns much sooner than planned but, dressed snuggly in a warm, hooded cloak does her best to blend in with passerbys and random NPCs while her mun is irritated by the Best Buy Christmas ads that keep popping up on livejournal*

*Riou has been holed up inside of his house for about two weeks now, he was severely depressed about Jowy and Nanami after rekindling his friendship with McDohl and getting closer with Cecile, Riou couldn't get his two childhood friends out of his mind, he was even beginning to see them visually, but Riou put this to the side when he saw snow, he had always loved it and it cheered him up significantly......*

*Riou can be seen standing not far from his house, he is constructing a snow-man but can't find anything that seems to resemble a nose*

......Dang it. *Riou then heads inside of his house and begins looking for...you guessed it...carrots. For some reason he can't find any in any of his cupboards* "I guess I never got any!" *He closes the cupboard slowly as he begins to think as he heads back outside*

I wonder how I can get a carrot.....what's a snowman with no carrot nose anyway...he already has the buttons...the tie...the top hat...even apples for eyes and raisins for a mouth....but alas no carrot nose....

*Riou can be seen sitting on the last step before the ground on his porch stairs, hands on his earmuffs trying to locate a carrot or a person who would have a carrot in his mind.*
